If so, do your best work with Acme Tools as Accounts Payable Manager!

You'll take on the role of coordinating our lineup of current and future accounts payable team members in a collaborative, progress-driven leadership role. You might be perfect for this role if you love to stay on top of financial and technology industry trends. You are also a numbers guru who has a proven ability to monitor and optimize Accounts Payable strategies and efficiencies, as well as a data junkie who is able to analyze results and communicate effectively with your fellow accounts payable comrades and upper leadership. You are constantly learning, a natural problem-solver, have a deep understanding of the importance that finances play in the success of a growing business, and never balk at taking on new challenges!

What You'll Take Ownership Of:

• Motivating and providing development opportunities, one-on-one coaching, and day-to-day management of the Accounts Payable team, including Accounts Payable Specialists and Supervisor

• Leading the team through Accounts Payable transactions, including: purchase order matching and processing, non-inventory expenses, check requests, payments to vendors and month-end processes

• Managing Accounts Payable vendor relationships and vendor workflow

• Reconciling vendor statements to internal records

• Identifying, investigating, and resolving vendor account discrepancies

• Working with Controller to ensure proper compliance with industry regulations, policies, and procedures

• Becoming primary point of contact for both internal staff and external suppliers on all payment related queries

• Analysis of Accounts Payable data and best practices to create efficiencies

• Assisting management with guiding overall strategic direction and progress-based change of Accounts Payable department processes and systems

• Weekly meetings with management on progress and status of open issues

• Working individually and in a team to complete a wide variety of projects for the organization

• Assisting with hiring and training new team members

• Rolling with the punches when it comes to taking on new, related challenges

Need-To-Haves:

• 2+ years of successful, enthusiastic management experience, and progressive Accounts Payable leadership experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent experience

• Exceptional business acumen, analytical, and organizational skills

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Quickbooks

• Ability to keep a high degree of confidentiality of information

• Ability to work with a high level of autonomy and support business decision-making

• Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills

• Must be energetic, motivated, and adaptable to progress-based change

Love-To-Haves:

• 4+ years of Accounts Payable management experience

• Prior ERP systems experience

• Proven experience working with a retail or similar business
