The Cirrus Approach team is seeking a highly-motivated, creative and detail-orientated person who is ready to apply their aviation and education expertise to the exciting challenges of flight training design and development. The SF50 Training Developer will manage and grow our type specific, Part 142 curriculum for the SF50 Vision Jet. This person will possess a commitment to inspiring pilots through engaging flight instruction and innovative learning solutions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Flight Training Developer, you're a part of the Cirrus Approach team which helps pilots learn to fly a Cirrus aircraft. This is accomplished by collaborating with a cross-functional group of training specialists to develop a global network of flight training solutions. You will specialize in type specific, Part 142 curriculum design and development for flight training in the SF50 Vision Jet. This includes syllabus and training content development aimed to support classroom, simulator, and actual in-flight instruction. Alongside curriculum design and development, you will play a key role as a SF50 subject matter expert for all training content production. For this reason, you'll work closely with factory engineers and pilots in product discovery activities which includes piloting and flight instruction. You'll also be expected to independently plan and implement projects, including but not limited to: providing timelines, resource requirements, budgets, and scope.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Aviation and/or Education.

Current FAA CFII and second class medical certificate.

Current FAA IGI & AGI certificate, preferred.

3+ years of flight and/or ground instruction experience.

Pilot school certification and management experience, preferred.

Turbine PIC experience, preferred.
