Bobcat Company leads the industry in the design, manufacture, marketing and distribution of compact equipment for construction, rental, landscaping, agriculture, grounds maintenance, government, utility, industry and mining. We strive to empower our customers to do their jobs more efficiently and effectively.

We operate the main Parts Distribution Centre for the EMEA Region in Halle (Saale), Germany for Bobcat and Portable Power products. From here our dealers and our satellite warehouse in Dubai are supplied with spare parts. We are searching for a Aftermarket Operations Manager (m/w/d) that enjoys the challenges and contributes with solutions to improve our internal processes.

The role

Your responsiblities in a diverse and growing team include:
  • You teams are responsible for Material Planning of the warehouses in Halle and Dubai and Customer Service
  • Ensure a high level of parts availablity and fill rate to serve our dealers and customer, that includes driving the process of Material Planning.
  • Monitoring and – if necessary – improving suppliers` performance in alignment with client and dealer requirements
  • Managing the 3PL providers for the warehouses in Halle and Dubai
  • Continuously initiating and driving process optimizations
  • Planning and managing the Aftermarket Operations Budget

Your profile

  • You have a relevant commercial or technical education
  • You have minimum 5-8 years experience in logistics management, ideally in spare parts or in the automotive or construction equipment industries
  • You have experience in managing customer service
  • You are able to improve processes and have high communications skills
  • You are fluent in English; German would be an added value,
  • You are experienced working in an international environment

What skills, education, and experiences does your ideal candidate(s) have?

•Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
•These are entry level opportunities
•Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly. Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time in order to meet build requirements. Must possess the ability to read build sheets and blueprints.
•The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or GED is required.
•Job specific skills, techniques and safe work and equipment operating practices are learned through on-the-job and classroom training. General instructions are given on recurring duties, operations and assignments; detailed instructions are given on new duties, operations and assignments.
