Job Details
These volunteers also work 4 hour shifts either morning or afternoon in groups of three. Their duties vary depending on who comes to the desk. Generally they pick up, sort and deliver the mail. They respond to calls from various departments serving their needs. They take a dietary cart around in OB every afternoon to the new moms and their visitors. They deliver flowers, direct patients and visitors where they need to go within the hospital which sometimes can include pushing them in a wheelchair or walking them directly where they need to go.
