Surgery Center

Alomere Health is looking for volunteers. 

This volunteer works alone for a 4 hour shift in the mornings.  They have a list of everyone having a procedure for the day and they keep track of the family members in the waiting room.  Once the surgeries are over, they receive a call from the operating room asking them to place the family in a consult room to meet with the doctor before he/she goes on to their next surgery.  They also help patient’s families to read the screen explaining where the patient is in their process (pre-op, surgery, recovery room etc.).  They show the families the coffee area, rest room etc.
