Outdoor Event Traffic Attendant (Seasonal)

SUMMARY: Provide traffic control for outdoor events. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
 Provide guests with directions that will enhance their entertainment experience 
 Direct vehicle traffic in parking lot areas to maintain steady traffic flow and maximize space 
 Stay alert to security breaches, safety hazards and persons in unauthorized areas 
 Ensure positive experiences for all guests arriving and departing the property 

KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES 
Knowledge and Certification 
Required: 
 High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience 

Preferred: 
 Prior event security work or equivalent experience 

Skills 
Required: 
 Accurate and detail-oriented 
 Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities 
 Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills 
 Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills 

Abilities 
Required: 
 Ability to follow established dress code and practice good personal hygiene 
 Ability to interact with entertainers, event staff, guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous manner 
 Ability to work in extreme weather conditions 
 Ability to effectively deal with intoxicated and disorderly persons in a professional manner 
 Ability to react appropriately in emergency situations 
 Ability to speak in a clear, concise and pleasant voice
