Job Details

Bank Forward has an opening for a full-time Network Administrator. Position will be responsible for supporting the technology team with projects and routine department activities. Incumbent will provide ITI support to bank employees, along with technical support on operational programs and systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports and contributes to the research, planning, and implementation of technology projects.
  •  Assists with the training of employees in new technology policies and procedures.
  •  Develops and maintains procedure manuals for various technology related areas.
  • Coordinates large projects involving new implementations, employee projects, and releases to the system.
  • Performs daily responsibilities related to the banking, insurance, and branch check imaging systems.
  • Processes reports, imports check images, matches images, corrects exception situations, and transmits item blocks.  
  • Provides support to the branch locations with questions related to Director, DPS image capture programs, and Premier Teller System.
  •  Troubleshoots problem situations involving hardware and software issues.   
  • Coordinates repairs related to the Teller system hardware. 
  •  Provides password resets for employees on internal systems.
  •  Maintains the account specifications for the ARTA system, rate changes, and updates.
  • Serves as the primary contact for user support.
  •  Involved in the daily tape backup rotation and offsite storage
  •  Performs daily downloads for our insurance agencies.
  •  Sets up new employees in active directory, exchange and profiles.
  • Sets up new company pcs, laptops and printers
  • Administers monthly evening Windows updates.
  •  Responsible for Shavlik Patch management secondary items, such as Service Pack implementation and ELO product removal for all locations.
  • Monitors DR cabinet & hardware.
  •  Responsible for running quarterly DR tests.
  • Occasionally travels to branch locations for system upgrades and maintenance as needed.

Qualifications:

  •  Position requires an associate’s degree in information systems or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least two years of experience in IS or technology is required.   
  • Two years of related experience or training is preferred.
  •  Must be able to work under minimal supervision, manage multiple tasks at one time, and interact with co-workers and the general public in a professional manner.  
  • Must possess a strong understanding of computer hardware and software components, as well as their application in bank operations.
