WDAY-TV, the number #1 News station in Fargo, North Dakota is looking for a full-time Anchor/Producer/Reporter.

You will fill in anchoring when needed and when you are not anchoring you will be out reporting. You will need to know how to shoot and edit video for the days you are reporting. This position can also lead to a full- time anchor/producer opening. A college degree in journalism or a related field is required. The successful candidate will have exceptional writing, communication and organizational skills.

WDAY is an Emmy award winning, locally owned and operated station that covers eastern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota. We produce more than 30 hours of local news each week. We have a staff of over 35 journalists working in news, weather and sports. Our newsroom includes spacious work areas for each employee, a makeup room, meeting spaces and a hangout area complete with couches and televisions. Fargo has a vibrant downtown with many activities and events geared towards young professionals. The community hosts many major concert, sporting, and community events throughout the year. There are a variety of styles of apartments to choose from, including several new apartment buildings in several new neighborhoods. The communities have plenty of options for shopping; from local specialty shops to major retailers.

Position Requirements
  • Must have exceptional writing, communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be creative, hard working and a self starter.
  • Undergraduate degree required.
  • Able to work well with others, under pressure and with strict deadlines.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a driving record that is insurable by the Company.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle with an acceptable level of insurance coverage.
