Job Details
Maintenance Technician/Driver
FT (80 hours/2 weeks) typically day hours. Must be flexible, includes on-call rotation.
Assists with painting, general repair, maintenance and upkeep of theEventide facilities and its grounds under the direction of the FacilitiesManager. Provide safe, quality customer service while transporting residents toappointments and activities. Perform occasional vehicle runs for supplies andmaterials. Will also perform minor equipment repairs and other maintenancetasks as requested.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required. A valid Driver'sLicense and clean driving record are required as well as a DOT Medical Cardexamination upon hire. Requires knowledge in any or all of the following areas:HVAC (Heating Ventilation, Air Conditioning), electrical, plumbing,refrigeration, carpentry, painting, vehicle and small engine upkeep and repair,yard care, snow removal and basic maintenance. Excellent interpersonal andcustomer service skills required. Must have the ability to work to work wellwith a variety of people to include staff, residents, families and visitors.Computer knowledge is required or must be willing to learn computerskills.
Essential Job Functions:
- Painting, general repair, maintenance and upkeep of the Eventide facilities and its grounds.
- Transport residents to appointments and activities
- Pick up/Deliver, Load/Unload Supplies and Materials
- Perform maintenance duties as requested. Some projects may include grounds work.
- Help with snow removal during winter months
- Answer minor equipment repair service calls.
- Schedule and Maintain Eventide vehicle runs.
