JOB SUMMARY

Defines and manages timely and accurate implementation of new and renewing large, small, and self-funded clients. Administers onboarding said clients within the Sanford Health Plan ecosystem. Responsible for creating a seamless bridge between the sales and services departments.
Delivers appropriate implementations in a timely manner when multiple client implementation are occurring. Presents a professional image with client forward facing interaction. Plays an active participant with sales in migrating prospects into existing clients through articulation of services and consistent and efficient implementation. Exhibits heighted capabilities in managing staff. Processes and communicates within an integrated cross-functional department. Focuses on strategic growth initiatives in order to stay informed of the health insurance market and any other external/internal initiatives that may influence the client implementation process.
Provides accountability for existing Sanford Health Plan clients, ensuring processes are optimized for effective and consistent delivery. Monitors all client onboarding requests and manages staff working to assist the implementation staff. Determines client configuration requirements, working through multiple departments of the Health Plan to achieve desired client outcome. Develops all processes and tools, support and training for client implementation lifecycle and provides an efficient interface with all marketing and technical departments. The Manager will work to define appropriate number of team members required to successfully grow the book of business in all business lines, focusing on appropriate and accurate implementation of groups. Displays the ability to enhance the Sanford Health Plan's efforts in responding to RFP's alongside the sales and marketing department.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages conflict and competition between teams and across organizational lines. Coaches others on operating personnel management systems and their processes. Delivers corrective feedback in a manner that inspires accountability and self-redirection. Advises on organizational best practices for internal resource coordination. Coaches others on resource coordination, including issue resolution. Plays a leadership role in establishing organization's standards, policies, and procedures. Creates a knowledge sharing environment to implement mutual development initiatives within the organization. Articulates and discusses industry-specific issues and challenges within own organization. Communicates key priorities with the team to keep them focused on the most important elements of the problem and resolve them effectively. Establishes best practices to handle mistakes, failures and obstacles across the organization and to improve teams' problem solving skills and effectiveness. Monitors effectiveness of support staff; recommends improvements. Organizes and coordinates large meetings and conferences. Consults on a full spectrum of enterprise office administration activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in marketing, sales, public relations health care or business required.
Four years of client service, account management or client implementation experience in healthcare or Health Plan industry required. Experienced in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
