JOB SUMMARY

The Monitor Tech provides support services. Some duties include: basic computer keyboarding skills, tearing down and assembling patient charts as appropriate, calling other departments to inform them of ordered tests and procedures as needed, and stocking supplies. In addition, the monitor tech will be responsible in monitoring and interpreting patient heart rhythms and vital signs as well as following set algorithm parameters that may raise alarms. This role must be able to interpret alarms and follow through with appropriate communication as needed.

DEPARTMENT DETAILS

Part-Time 36 hours per two-week pay period. Primary function is watching monitors and rhythm interpretation. We will train for EKG interpretation.
Will also train as PCT prior to Monitor Tech training. #featuredjob

QUALIFICATIONS

High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) is required.
Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medical equipment/supplies preferred.
