JOB SUMMARY

Assists in the diagnosis, treatment and management of patients with pulmonary disorders. Procedures performed include Blood Gases (Procurement and Analysis), Patient Assessments and Therapist Driven Protocols, Home O2 Evaluations, Medication Administration, Bronchopulmonary Hygiene, Volume Expansion, Bronchoscopies and Intubation Assists, Management of CPAP/BIPAP/Mechanical Ventilation, High Risk Deliveries and all C-Sections, Participate on Rapid Response, Code Blue, and Trauma teams, Oscillatory VentilatorManagement, EKG, Specialized Neonatal/Pediatric and Adult Intensive Care Teams, and Neonatal Air-Med Transport Team.
This position offers flexible scheduling based on your needs. Scheduling choices consist of either 4 hour, 8 hour, or 12 hour shifts!

QUALIFICATIONS

Must hold a RRT license through the NBRC (if the credential was received after July 1, 2002) within twelve months of employment and maintain active status according to NBRC credentialing requirements. Must be registered as a Respiratory Therapist with the North Dakota State Board of Respiratory Care. CPR and ACLS certifications required within 3 months of employment, re-certification as required. NRP and PALS certifications required within 3 months of joining the NICU/PICU team, re-certification as required. Graduate of an American Medical Association (approved by the NBRC) Respiratory Therapy school.
