JOB SUMMARY

Responsible to build and maintain a pipeline of candidates to support the workforce needs of Sanford Health through multiple activities and by implementing talent strategies.
Execute sourcing activities (including attending career fairs, college events, interview scheduling, etc.), managing the candidate experience. Perform screening of applicants, assessment of their skill level/fit for roles and route appropriately. Responsible to build and maintain relationships with passive candidates and referrals. Understanding and ability to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and service line(s) for candidate generation and engagement.
Utilize relevant technologies in digital, social media and job boards to source and recruit new and existing candidates. Identifies and stays current on market trends in the marketplace that impact ability to recruit. Execute new hire pre-boarding activities, including participating in, and coordinating the new employee orientation (NEO) process. Resolves complex recruiting queries and non-standard recruiting requests that cannot be resolved by Employee Services Center (ESC).
Supports the employee referral tracking and bonus payout process. Partner with pre-boarding vendors to facilitate background screen and relocation processes. Track escalated issues and trends. Understands assigned service line(s) and assigned recruitment processes and technologies. Implement the quality standards for data to provide accuracy, timeliness, and completeness. Demonstrates ongoing compliance with all appropriate accrediting and regulatory agencies.
Strong customer service centered focus and ability to deal with ambiguity. Strong communication skills and consultative skills, with ability to develop close relations and establish trust with clients and applicants. Possesses expertise in human resources related technologies. Excellent organizational and time management skills; knowledge of workforce planning (forecast, identify needs, locations and behaviors). Knowledge in recruitment practices, in-depth experience in interviewing and assessment techniques. Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information appropriately. Have an understanding of compliance and reporting requirements related to talent acquisition. Possess the ability to follow strict policy and procedural guidelines ensuring adherence to all laws, policies and regulations.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Operates candidate sourcing tools and software within the department. Exchanges candidate and job information with hiring managers. Establishes and maintains productive working relationships within and outside of own area. Communicates well downward, upward, and outward. Applies effective candidate selection techniques for a specific recruiting task. Adjusts work to accommodate the needs of group processes. Screens candidates to obtain detailed information on knowledge, skills, motivation, etc. Represents the organization in a professional manner. Prepares tools, record-keeping requirements, and reports for applicant tracking. Plans, conducts, and documents screening interviews. Plans the operational process for a specific human resources function (e.g. recruiting).

DEPARTMENT DETAILS

QUALIFICATIONS

Associate's Degree or equivalent combination post-secondary education and work experience. Bachelor's degree strongly preferred. Field of study in human resources, business administration, organizational development, or related degree.
Minimum two years recruiting and/or sourcing experience preferred, including using recruitment processes and Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential preferred.
