JOB SUMMARY

Coordinates requests and production for marketing materials. Performs administrative duties including coordinating calendars, ordering supplies, etc.. Keeps track of marketing budgets and campaign planning calendars. Assists with marketing events.
Collaborates with all marketing disciplines for marketing plan recommendations and implementation. Tracks and records marketing activities and results. Provides support on the planning and execution of marketing events and programs. Collaborates with the Earned Media team to respond to media inquiries and pitch relevant stories. Provides support with the development and implementation of internal communications. Performs administrative duties for the marketing team including coordinating calendars, orderings supplies, etc. Keeps track of marketing budgets and campaign planning calendars. Assists with marketing events.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Cites the different types of promotions and the advantages of each. Adapts interaction style to situations and people. Works with a specific marketing support application. Utilizes specific approaches and tools for gathering and collating competitive information. Recognizes changing demands and priorities; validates changes with management. Provides examples of the characteristics of effective business relationships. Participates in the development of promotional materials. Explains the importance of effective business communication. Demonstrates experience participating in productive collaborative processes. Creates action plans that ensure the accomplishment of responsibilities.

DEPARTMENT DETAILS

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business or related field.
Minimum of one year experience in a related position, or structured internship. Strong writing and communications skills required. Knowledge of Excel an asset for budget tracking.
This role classifies as a Sanford Category III Driver requiring a motor vehicle report and proof of valid driver’s license. Also must be medically qualified to perform the essential driving functions of this position as per our Sanford Driving Policy.
