Magnum Trucking of Fargo ND is seeking a Network Technician Level 1 to help work with vendors, system administrators, and customers to aid with installation and troubleshooting network needs. Some other key tasks include new network setup, troubleshooting PC hardware , PC software and PC network problems; configuring and installing operating systems; training users; installing and troubleshooting network cable infrastructure; and writing scripts and creating files to enhance Meraki Cisco systems.

Requirements: Must have beginning level technician experience or an equivalent technician degree. Experience in computer support or technical roles is preferred. 

Responsibilities:
• Support basic networking setups with minimal support and be able to work with Network level 3 consultants to complete more complex work
• Ability to work around or learn Microsoft Azure Cloud environment for basic support and connectivity setups on new server builds. 
• Provide support for simple issues while offsite such as PC’s, scanners, monitors and networked printers
• Setup of basic wireless networks using devices such as EERO and Cisco Meraki products
• Establish physical network infrastructure among the systems as per the guidance and design specification given by the IT Manager or level 3 consultant. 
• Troubleshoot network and peripheral issues and other simple network connectivity problems
• Maintain and help build out simple PC inventory for support desk and ensure adequate supplies at remote locations
• Support help desk personnel in dealing with end user issues as it relates to the network
• Coordinate with other entities for larger cabling, network bandwidth upgrade projects or phone SIP related projects
• Maintain UPS systems and change out batteries at remote locations
• Update and maintain network Topology documentation

Hours: Monday - Friday; (7:00am-3:30pm) 

Pay: Competitive salary; DOE
