Transmission & Distribution Studies Engineer

We have an opening for a Transmission & Distribution Studies Engineer located in Fergus Falls, MN.

For this role we require a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent work experience in the area of transmission or distribution planning. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Must have the ability to work independently as well as with internal and external stakeholders. Must have strong computer skills and knowledge in various types of analytical processes. Strong leadership and abstract problem-solving skills are preferable. Selected candidates will be required to complete a pre-interview assessment.

Successful applicant will conduct transmission and distribution studies to ensure Otter Tail Power Company’s system is planned in the most prudent and cost-effective manner.
