Role and Responsibilities You will be providing support to the engineering, production and sales departments through the creation of drawings, documentation, specifications and other information as needed under the direction of the Engineering/IT Manager.

  • Create and maintain items, drawings and shipping information in our production database
  • Generate quotation drawings for the sales department
  • Setup and maintain Bill of Materials in our ERP software
  • Create CNC programs for the CNC cutting table and CNC router
  • Continue the development of standards for product drawings and supporting documentation
  • Design new products for compression, injection, rotational molding and fiberglass spray-up as needed
  • Conduct production and assembly reviews to improve efficiency, remove waste, correct ergonomics and reduce costs
  • Work with/in production when implementing production, assembly or process changes
  • Other tasks/projects as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

        Computer Aided Design Certificate, comparable experience or training

Preferred Skills Proficient in the following programs:

  • SolidWorks 2018 or other 3D modeling software
  • Product Data Management Software
  • Microsoft Office
  • Adobe Acrobat
  • SolidWorks DriveWorks a plus

Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized

Additional Notes

This position includes the opportunity for additional responsibilities in the IT department. Depending on time available and training/skills, this could include things like setup & support of PC’s on the network, database design & maintenance.
