SUMMARY OF POSITION:
This position is located on the Bismarck State College campus and includes classroom instruction and possible upgrade of instructional materials directly related to ethanol and biofuels production.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree or an associate degree in an energy technology or appropriate related field and a minimum of three years of non-teaching energy industry work experience. Or a certificate in an appropriate field with a minimum of five years of non-teaching energy industry work experience or no degree/certificate with a minimum of ten years of non-teaching energy industry work experience.
  • Excellent working knowledge of operations in ethanol/biofuels industry.
  • Strong electrical, instrumentation, maintenance and safety knowledge of the ethanol/biofuels industry sector.
  • Good computer software skills - Microsoft Office, email and electronic calendar.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups and to articulate and support the community college philosophy.
Preferred:
  • Appropriate bachelor's degree.
  • Ethanol production experience.
  • Curriculum development, teaching and/or training experience.
