Typical Day in the Life

A typical day as an Industry Marketing Assistant in Fargo, ND might include the following:

  • Maintain inventory of marketing communications materials and place orders through the Marketing Resource Center as needed.
  • Help track marketing activities and campaigns.
  • Provide support for marketing events, help to send invitations, track registration and work on-site to assist with logistics.
  • Provide support for various marketing activities, including sponsorships, advertisements, events and email lists.
  • Handle market research requests.
  • Assist with trade show logistics, including registering attendees, organizing materials and scheduling staff attendance at booths.
  • Provide administrative support for internal marketing meetings.
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to order appropriate materials, giveaways and promotional items.
  • Assist with marketing budget items, including tracking expenses and submitting invoices.
  • Perform additional marketing administrative duties as assigned by manager.

 

Who You Are
  • You consider yourself to be a people person and enjoy interacting with others via phone, email and in-person.
  • You are proficient with computers, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and other various software packages, and are familiar with CRM systems.
  • You are a multi-tasking master, and there has never been a deadline you could not meet.
  • You have excellent interpersonal and client service skills.
  • You hold yourself to the highest professional standards and maintain strict client confidentiality.
  • In addition to all of this, you have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Marketing (preferred but not required).

Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future.
