Job Details
Under minimal supervision, the Application Developer will:
- Program front end web applications
- Write tests and documentation
- Design and architect new features
- Run necessary infrastructure
- Work together with colleagues and management as a team.
- Develop test scenarios and cases for use in system and integration testing
- Produce high quality documentation
- Participate in or conduct end user training, including development of user guides and reference materials
Qualifications:
- 4+ years Angular (version 5 or above) web front-end development
- Well versed in RESTful web services / APIs
- Create rich user experiences with "Responsive Design" techniques for tablet / mobile
- Strong experience with JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS, JSON, JQuery, Angular libraries
- Must have a keen eye for design…proven track record in developing apps that are both beautiful and intuitive to use
- Experience in version control systems such as GIT / Bitbucket / JIRA
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Ability to interpret user stories into technical designs for web applications
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Is effective in a variety of communication settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study
- 4 - 5 years' work experience in a Software Development role
- Preference for work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiar with application development standards and software development lifecycle
- Experience with web-based learning management systems (LMS) a define plus
Demonstrated Proficiencies/Skills/Abilities:
- Pick up on situational cues of others and adjusts to keep team interactions effective
- Relate comfortably with people across levels, functions, culture and geography
- Ability to solve problems using analytical problem-solving tools
- Ability to understand complex software applications and data integrations between systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
