Parts Warehouse

Responsibilities:

The position will involve but not be limited to the following duties:

• Processing customer and service department orders

• Picking, packaging, and shipping of orders

• Daily involvement in the Contamination Control Program and related parts procedures

• Deliveries of machines and parts as needed

• Organizing, cleaning, and maintaining the warehouse

• Delivers parts to the shop

• Recognizes difficult customer situations and determines when to get others involved

• Recognizes the proper bin sizing

• Processing emergency freight and stock orders

• Forklift Operation

• Loading & unloading of trucks

• Assembling hoses after training

• Understands the work schedule may include overtime and Saturday schedule

• Procuring outside parts for service department

• Processing returns and warranty parts

• Handling incoming and outgoing freight

• Filling batteries, testing, and warranty when needed

• Inspecting cores and determining core credit

• Executing Backorders

• Express professional business ethics & attitude

• Effective use of all communications tools

• Work within and promotes vision, mission, and values of BMC

• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be self-driven and able to think creatively

• Strong people skills

• Customer Service skills

• Positive attitude, welcomes challenges

• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team

• Ability to multi-task is a must

• Computer knowledge and good keyboarding skills required

• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. and be on feet most of the day

• Good organization skills are essential

• Preference is for a person who has prior parts experience

• Prefer the person with a CDL or has the ability to get one within the first 90 days of hire

• Must have and maintain a clean driving record
