Construction Manager

Position Description:
Help, plan, design, coordinate, and manage campus building renovation, remodeling, and maintenance projects. Provide estimates, designs, sketches, specifications, and other construction management services for renovation, remodeling, and maintenance projects for campus departments.

Minimum Qualifications:

• B.S. degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, with a minimum of 2 years working experience in a construction related field OR 8 years work experience in commercial building construction remodeling and renovations
• Experience to include construction management, designing and estimating
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other construction documents
• MS Office or similar software experience
• Strong commitment to customer service
• Ability to prioritize, organize and manage multiple projects
• Valid Driver's License
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Higher education experience

Physical Demands:
Working around construction sites, open excavations, climbing on roofs or other elevated areas, confined or tight spaces. Working around asbestos containing materials.
