Description

We are currently looking for a Life Enrichment Coordinator. The Life Enrichment Coordinator carries out the department mission by enriching the lives of the residents through recognized Edgewood standards.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Oversee the planning and implementation of community-wide activity programs to encourage and meet residents specific physical or psychological needs.  
  • Work with an inter-disciplinary team on coordinating quality resident care by providing progress reports on residents interactions/reactions during activities. 
  • Assist residents to and from activities, may include outings.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies
  • Assists Executive Director in achieving department budget goals, and coordinates life enrichment volunteers.

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid/current state driver’s license required
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
  • Associates Degree in a related field preferred 
  • Experience with activity or recreation programming strongly preferred
  • Experience working with the elderly a plus
