Edgewood is currently looking for a Hospice Chaplain/Spiritual Care Counselor to be part of CaringEdge, a brand new Home Health and Hospice program within Edgewood Healthcare (located in Casper, WY). This position is responsible to provide spiritual care counseling to terminally ill patients in keeping with the patient's/family’s/caregiver's belief system and practice, and in accordance with the plan of care. The Hospice Chaplain (or designated spiritual counselor) will provide direct support and coordinate services utilizing local clergy and other individuals, as appropriate. The Hospice Chaplain will be assigned to each patient based on the patient’s needs and acceptance of these services. The Chaplain will be a member of the interdisciplinary group and will participate in the development, implementation, and revision of the plan of care.
This position is responsible for ensuring that spiritual services are delivered appropriately and documentation of spiritual services meets all requirements.
Position will be available to patients and their families for regular and emergency visits.
Minimum Requirements
Experience working with death and the dying, as it relates to patients and their families/caregivers.

Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Pastoral Care preferred
- Previous Chaplaincy or pastoral/spiritual care experience required.
