JOB SUMMARY

Responsible of the development of projects, strategies and business ventures for finance at an assigned location. Apply advanced technical knowledge of finance, along with external market practices to solve highly complex challenges.
Provide leadership and strategic direction for the business operation and development, implementation and control of financial strategies that maintain and enhance the financial strength of the enterprise.
Responsible for facility financial planning and accounting practices, and relationships with lending institutions, raters and the financial community.
Coordinate and control cash and investment management activities in the facility.
Ensure the fiscally responsible delivery of safe, high-quality health care in accordance with the enterprise mission, vision and strategic goals.
Must possess a thorough knowledge of industry trends, along with current regulations and issues in health care.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops strategies to align the operating costs of all major financial applications to organizational goals. Reviews key financial and performance indicators used by the corporation. Monitors relevant industry trends and their implications. Champions the use of the newest methods, strategies, and technologies in managing organizational cash. Leads discussions on financial trends, markets, and benchmarks for implications to own organization. Leads the development or enhancement of major financial systems. Defines processes and practices for managing client expectations and service delivery. Handles multiple initiatives at the same time and integrates them into a comprehensive plan. Champions behaviors that inspire cohesiveness and move the organization to reach a vision.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, health care administration or a related field required. Master's degree in a related field preferred.
Minimum of ten years of management experience in a health care environment required. Minimum of five years of senior management experience preferred.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
