Certified Nurse Anesthestist

Lakewood Health System has an exciting opportunity for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.

Come and join an independent group of CRNAs in a full scope of practice environment with great staff and surgeons to work with.  It is a full time, benefited position covering many specialties of care to include, but not limited to: OB/GYN, ENT, Ortho, General, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, Urology, Dental, GI.

The schedule involves a rotating call and every fifth weekend.  We have about 475 deliveries/year.  Our surgical volume averages 1750 cases/yr with GI adding an additional 900 procedures/yr.  A strong skillset in regional anesthesia and nerve blocks is desirable.  If you’re someone who desires a strong independent practice with the collegiality a Critical Access Hospital offers – this is the job for you!  Come join a group of CRNAs who have fun together, laugh together and yes at times, cry together!  We’re excited for the opportunity to meet you!

Qualifications

1. Graduate of a School of Anesthesia accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational programs
2. Current licensure by the State of Minnesota as a Registered Nurse
3. Current certification by the NBCRNA
4. Three to five years experience is preferred
5. Must be current in BLS/ACLS
