Nurse Manager

Horizon Health has an excellent opportunity for a Nurse Manager to work at the Reflections Unit within Lakewood Health System.  The leadership-level position will be responsible for supervision of nursing services and oversight of patient care, on the inpatient geriatric psychiatry unit of the hospital.

The Nurse Manager plans, implements, and evaluates overall nursing care delivery to patients.  He/she provides managerial support in conjunction with the Program Director by providing supervision and evaluation of all nursing personnel on the unit.  He/she contributes to the behavioral health program, nursing department, and hospital system - through commitment to nursing goals, policy and procedure development, program oversight, supervision of clinical staff, and participation in community relations.  The Nurse Manager reports administratively to the Unit’s Program Director, and clinically to the Hospital VP of Nursing.

This position is a full-time, salaried position requiring flexibility to meet unit needs and administrative functions.

Qualifications

1. This position requires a 4 year Bachelor's Degree
2. RN License
3. Experience in Psychiatric Utilization and leadership experience
