Respiratory Therapist

Lakewood Health System has an opening for a Part-time Respiratory Therapist.

The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory therapy services to patients of Lakewood Health System so that optimum quality of patient care is delivered consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the System.

This is a part-time 0.3 FTE position working 8 and10 hour shifts during the day, with rotating call shifts, weekends and some holidays will be required.  New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

1. Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy

2. Current registration or certification in the State of Minnesota

3. Preferred experience with ACLS, NRP and STABLE, also willing to train on the job.

4. Satisfactory performance in a similar position for a minimum of two years preferred, but not required.

5. Demonstrated leadership skills

6. Excellent oral communication skills

7. Ability to plan, direct and/or implement and evaluate the respiratory care delivered to patients.
