Brief Description
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program
- Conducts recruitment effort for production group to include: maintain application files, send out responses to applicants, interviewing for positions and make recommendations to hiring manager, schedule pre-employment testing and orientations.
- Assist with onboarding program to include: ensure appropriate forms/notifications are completed and on file and new employee orientation and training is scheduled and conducted
- Participates in recruitment activities to include: career fairs, local school promotional events, social media posts relating to recruitment.
- Keeps current in the area of employment law and safety as they relate to the manufacturing industry; and ensure that actions are in compliance with applicable laws
- Attends Human Resource meetings to keep informed of changes and upcoming issues.
- Responsible for the maintenance of personnel files
- Be available to assist employees with human relations needs/questions
- Assists in preparing internal employee communications as needed
- Assist with the scheduling of training and conducting training as needed
- Assists with employee events as needed
- Assists with safety program to include; monthly audits, annual training and testing, injury reporting
- Promote a positive atmosphere. Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- 2 year degree from college or technical school or Human Resource certification
- 3 - 4 years HR Generalist experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Safety program experience preferred
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate with a diverse group of people
- Must be a fluent, advanced user of Microsoft Office products
- Must have excellent work attendance
- Must perform duties in a confidential, professional manner
Training:
- Current HR Database
- Reference OJT
Physical Demands
- Ability to do repective movements (i.e.) bending, twisting, walking)

Summary
Human Resources Generalist
Purpose: Professionally assists in the administration of company policies and Human Resource procedures within the organization. This position will have a high emphasis on recruitment, promotion of company recruitment activity, and onboarding of new employees. Works as part of a team to facilitate communication and employee human relations within organization. Promotes a safe, healthy, productive, and positive workplace environment.
