Primary Objective of Position

On-the-floor point of contact for day-to-day issues supporting direction given by supervisor/manager ensuring goals and objectives are met.

Technical Job Functions

• Provide on-going training to employees in a designated work cell and assigns proper training to new team members. 
• Provides leadership to employees by maintaining high quality standards.
• Support strategic direction and specific projects as directed by Supervisor.
• Clearly explain the area’s overall direction and ideas to other personnel as needed.
• Adjust workloads to meet deadlines under direction of Supervisor.
• Observe established safe working and housekeeping procedures.  Promptly correct and/or notify Supervisor of hazardous situations.
• Establish and maintain high performance teamwork and positive working relationships within assigned teams and with all applicable company departments, and other internal and external customers.

Authorities and Responsibilities             

• Assume other projects and responsibilities as directed.
• Acts as back-up for the Supervisor/Manager when that individual is unavailable.
• Troubleshoots and solves issues with the assistance.
• Recommends and initiates process improvements with approval of supervisor/manager and in concert with other leads and shifts.
• Will have contact with internal and external customers and co-workers.

• Regular and predictable attendance is presumed to be an essential function of all employment.
• Employee is responsible for the generation, labeling, storage, and other general management of hazardous waste.  Employee requires “Hazardous Waste Management Training” once per year.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three years’ experience.
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
