Automated Maintenance Instructor

Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College is seeking a learning-focused, creative and dynamic individual for a full-time Automotive Maintenance Instructor at the WITC Superior Campus for the Fall 2019 Semester. The ideal candidates will demonstrate interest in and potential for excellence in facilitating student learning and development. This is a NATEF Certified Automotive Program. This position will be scheduled for evening classes (2:30 pm – 9:30 pm). 16 weeks (Limited Term)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent* in related field. 
• Two years (4,000 hrs) automotive maintenance occupational experience (auto body repair is not acceptable)
• ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification required; to include electrical, brakes, engine performance, steering, suspension, and engine repair.
• Ability to obtain driver’s license and insurance coverage in accordance with College policy.
• Educational equivalency: Occupational experience combined with education and training preparing a person for the occupation totaling 7 years or 14,000 hours. Each academic credit or equivalent credit is equal to 110 hours of occupational experience.
