The Web Content Specialist reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications and is responsible for creating and managing content on the VCSU website, developing and maintaining the website in collaboration with technology services personnel, utilizing Google Analytics to analyze web performance and drive changes in content and user experience, and working with other university personnel to ensure coordinated marketing efforts.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in communication, English, journalism, marketing, public relations or related field; one year experience in web content creation, use of CMS, web writing and editing, or equivalent in directly related and documented education; familiarity with Microsoft Office software suite (Word, Excel, etc.); attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and good oral and written communication skills are required. Candidate must have the ability to organize and prioritize work activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with video and photo editing, WordPress CMS, Adobe Creative Cloud, AP style, Google Analytics, HTML, CSS, and SEO.
Compensation:
$37,000-$41,000. Comprehensive fringe benefit package including employer paid full family coverage for health insurance, NDPERS retirement plan, and tuition waiver benefits. More information available by clicking here.
