Spring Valley (pop. 1358) is accepting applications for a Chief of Police.
Qualifications: minimum of 5 years of law enforcement experience, WI LESB Certification withfurther education a plus, good verbal and written communication skills, ability to work effectively with local officials and community representatives, strong commitment to community-oriented policing, skills in personnel management, ability to work within a budget, good driving record, ability to possess firearms and must be a US Citizen. Background check, written exercise, physical exam and drug screening may be conducted.
Salary DOQ, Residency is required.
