JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to assure that home-based family-focused early intervention and developmental services are provided to eligible infants and toddlers (0-3) and their families within the regulations and timelines of the state of NorthDakota.
QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements)
At a minimum, have a Bachelor’s degree, 5 years of applicable experience and a license to practice in the state of North Dakota, with coursework, practicum, and experience with infants and toddlers with disabilities and their families in the following disciplines:
1. Early Childhood Education
2. Early Childhood Special Education
3. Nursing
4. Occupational Therapy
5. Physical Therapy
6. Social Work
7. Special Education
8. Speech Language Pathology
Preferred/Required Skills and Abilities
Supervision of others/decision making aptitude:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.The Lead Early Interventionist will assist the Operations Manager with delegated accountabilities

- Work-related problems are solved at
this level with recommendations and atypical problems reviewed with the Operations
Manager, as appropriate - Must have flexibility in schedule
- Works effectively with a wide
variety of professional disciplines and families as well as social, economic
and cultural backgrounds - Must be able to use time
effectively and meet state regulations and timelines for Early Intervention
which include personnel qualifications, educational qualifications
and North Dakota’s early intervention competencies which includes
confidentiality while providing early intervention services to children and
their families - This position must have a valid
driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Completes
required training and educational requirements per State, Federal, local
health codes and Anne Carlsen Center policies and procedures
