Description
Our Bismarck medical clinic is looking for a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to be a part of the multi-disciplinary team providing care to clinic patients. The CNA provides direct or general nursing care to patients from admission through discharge under the direction of a licensed Registered Nurse and within the scope of practice defined by the State Board of Nursing.

Our Bismarck medical clinic is looking for a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to be a part of the multi-disciplinary team providing care to clinic patients. The CNA provides direct or general nursing care to patients from admission through discharge under the direction of a licensed Registered Nurse and within the scope of practice defined by the State Board of Nursing.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Taking vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure)
- Maintaining patient records and completing administrative duties that assist in the management of patient care.
- Assisting the patients, patient’s families and friends, nursing staff, and other clinic personnel to assure the delivery of comprehensive quality care in a safe, confidential and comfortable environment.
- Other duties such as transportation of specimens, finding supplies, infection control (cleaning and sanitizing patient surfaces), etc. as requested by clinic staff.
Minimum Requirements
A successful candidate possesses the following:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid North Dakota CNA Certificate required
- Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks
- Previous clinic experience, a plus
- High level of professionalism and ability to be discreet with confidential and sensitive issues.
