Description

Our Bismarck medical clinic is looking for a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to be a part of the multi-disciplinary team providing care to clinic patients. The CNA provides direct or general nursing care to patients from admission through discharge under the direction of a licensed Registered Nurse and within the scope of practice defined by the State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Taking vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure)
• Maintaining patient records and completing administrative duties that assist in the management of patient care.
• Assisting the patients, patient’s families and friends, nursing staff, and other clinic personnel to assure the delivery of comprehensive quality care in a safe, confidential and comfortable environment.
• Other duties such as transportation of specimens, finding supplies, infection control (cleaning and sanitizing patient surfaces), etc. as requested by clinic staff.

Minimum Requirements

A successful candidate possesses the following:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid North Dakota CNA Certificate required
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks
• Previous clinic experience, a plus
• High level of professionalism and ability to be discreet with confidential and sensitive issues.
