Description
Part-time (15 hr/wk) position available in Parks Department to perform janitorial/cleaning of park buildings. Performs related duties as required.
Examples of Duties:
Mops, uses floor cleaning machine, waxes and sweeps floors.
Cleans, dusts and polishes furniture, baseboards, windowsills, and other fixtures.
Washes and polishes fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and mirrors.
Empties and cleans waste and trash containers.
Replenishes supplies of tissues, soap, towels, etc.
Washes windows.
Outside work includes grass cutting, trimming, and clearing snow.
It is unlikely an employee will perform all the duties listed on a regular basis, nor is the list exhaustive in the sense it covers all the duties that an employee may be required to perform. The examples are merely indicative, not restrictive.
Typical Qualifications:
1. Graduation from High School.
2. Some experience in equipment operation and institutional cleaning.
or
3. An equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Special Requirements:
1. Possession of a valid Wisconsin driver's license.
