Job Description
A Project Manager is responsible for completing the following duties:
  • Oversee pre-construction through the completion of Construction Management projects
  • Manage Construction Management projects from time that complete construction management contract is signed until final completion of project.
    • Manage on-site job supervisors
    • Manage inside construction management staff
    • Manage sub-contractor contracts including bid letting, approving invoicing, etc.
    • Provide updates to customers, etc. on project status
    • Develop and maintain project schedule
    • Work to maintain Project Budget
    • Maintain quality workmanship on the project as a whole
    • Process pay applications on a monthly basis and track project costs
    • Keep organized records and documentation throughout the project
  • Coordinate between Construction Management, Install, and Service to insure seamless transition between job stages
  • Assist Construction Management sales as needed
  • Work with the Safety Director to oversee site safety, making sure all processes and practices are conducted in a safe manner
  • Understand operation and safety of all machinery in your area of responsibility
  • Accountable for all safety and cleanliness of your area of responsibility
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Effective use of time management skills
  • Support your Supervisor and Company decisions
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Must have working knowledge of your area of responsibility
  • Highly effective communication skills
  • Able to read and understand blueprints
  • Computer skills - ongoing development to include Microsoft Office and E1
  • 10 years experience in construction practices
