Job Details

Now hiring for a new team member in our Inventory Services department. Inventory Services is responsible for assessment, implementation, and maintenance of supply inventory locations. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.

Position Highlights:
  • Full-time; Monday-Friday 7:00a-3:30p schedule

Core Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Control Picks and assembles orders on a project by project basis.
  • Interacts with Supply Chain Informatics Specialist to upload new and modify existing supply locations.
  • Transmits PAR orders to the Distribution Center on a project basis.
  • Tracks non-stock and routine stock orders, to Required on-site and off-site locations on a project basis.
  • Performs data input into the Materials Management Information System (MMIS) as assigned.
  • Uses customer service skills to handle special requests or needs of the internal department, hospital units, and regional clinics.
  • Uses problem-solving skills to deal with concerns and issues of the customers.
  • Inventory Management Responsible for the assessment and strategy around inventory management of the kanban locations within the St. Cloud Hospital, CentraCare Clinic, and CentraCare regional locations.
  • Analyzes usage reports for organizational end-users.
  • Assists in the set-up and maintenance of supply locations.
  • Identifies opportunity in process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Performs inventory issues and credits.
  • Tracks departmental product savings.
  • Assesses related processes and makes recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintains knowledge of MMIS system.
  • Establishes and maintains effective internal and external customer relationships.
  • Communicates routinely with the procurement staff to improve supply ordering process.
  • Communicates with the Specialist, Inventory Control on a daily basis to address concerns, workflow changes, and to address any other concerns or questions.
  • Performs all other receiving, storage, and distribution duties as assigned, including special projects such as data reduction, physical inventories, re-profiling, etc.

Additional Qualifications:
  • Computer skills involving inventory control, receiving and issuing of supplies preferred.
  • A valid Minnesota driver's license and a driving record in good standing required.
