POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible to develop and maintain positive and strong professional relationships with casino guests to maintain a focus on casino marketing, player acquisition, development and retention. In all interactions, the position is responsible for making STAR service to guests and fellow team members a first priority.

 

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides exceptional, STAR Service to ensure overall guest satisfaction.

o   Smile and Greet

o   Take Care of Needs

o   Anticipate, Ask and Act

o   Remember to Thank and Close

  • Performs the position-specific STAR service expectations, as outlined by the department.

 

Guest Services:  Listens and responds to guest concerns to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.

·         Promotes the star rewards card usage and develops positive relationships with casino guests.

  • Encourage guest to use the star rewards card and explain benefits of the star rewards card.
  • Promote casino events and promotions and answer guest questions about these.
  • Refers guests to appropriate personnel for issue resolution.
  •  Reward acknowledged guest with pertinent complimentaries as outlined in the comp policies.            

 

Promotions:  Organize and attend all tiered Silver Gold and Platinum parties for high end players to ensure guest satisfaction.

 

·         Assist with planning and attend all tiered players club parties for high end players.

·         Prepare mailing lists, draft letters of invitation and arrange hotel reservations for all guests

       attending function.

·         Inform and promote events by calling invited guests.

 

Office Duties:  Maintains and organizes concierge lounge and casino host office to ensure a productive and inviting office and environment for associates and guests.

 

·         Prepares daily shift reports to include new players club members signed up, Silver, Gold and Platinum members on site and any questions or concerns that happened during your shift. 

·         Check Gold and Platinum Players into and out of the hotel.    

·         Enters all comps issued into database for tracking of comps issued to players.

·         Answers telephone and makes reservations for guest calling with request for rooms or dinner.

·         Report to next shift any problem or concerns you encountered during your shift.

·         Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.

Minimum Requirements

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Prefer a minimum of two years experience in casino marketing or public relations.

  • *Shift differential of additional $1.25/hr for swing and night shift and an additional weekend differential of $1.25/hr. Requirements based on position. Available for hours worked after a team member completes their 90-day probationary time frame.
