JOB SUMMARY

Contributes to Imagenetics initiatives including but not limited to Sanford Biobank and Sanford Chip as well as other Sanford initiatives that apply. Assists with patient recruitment and enrollment in clinical and research studies or other projects.
Specific duties include data collection, participant follow-up, data entry, and working with clinics and labs to promote enrollment. May be responsible for preparing biological specimens for shipping and storage. Provides assistance in presentation of recruitment and training materials in graphical, written, and oral formats. Promotes good clinical practices in the conduct of clinical research by ensuring compliance with protocol and regulatory requirements, and by collecting, recording and maintaining data and source documentation. Requires experience in data entry. Requires time management and organizational skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills are necessary especially with patients and healthcare providers. Must maintain confidential information. Travel to clinic sites is required. Normal department business hours. Occasional early morning, late night, and weekends may be required. Demonstrates a basic knowledge of good clinical practices.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Describes initiatives and strategies for locally relevant market. Delivers written and oral communication, responds to questions and concerns, and produce specific outcomes and impact. Communicates the importance of customer needs/expectations and commits to resolving them. Adjusts to new or changing assignments, processes, and people. Adheres to established internal standards and procedures abstracted from HIPAA. Presents a professional image, especially when dealing with customers. Monitors and tracks turnaround times and results of incoming and outgoing specimens. Identifies the basic eligibility and enrollment requirements. Helps promote collaboration across generations, functions, regions, and levels. Helps link organizational objectives to customer needs and expectations. Establishes and maintains productive working relationships within and outside of own area. Educates others on multiple functions or aspects of a healthcare segment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Associates degree required.
A valid drivers’ license is required for driving to clinics and other Sanford facilities.
