CFO (Chief Financial Officer) JOB DESCRIPTION Midwest Stairs and Iron, Inc., a rapidly growing market leader in architectural metal fabrication located in the Milwaukee area, is seeking a successful financial leader to be a key business partner to the President and member of the Executive Team. The CFO will focus on providing strategic planning for growth, financial analysis, and continuous process improvements to the Company. CFO Responsibilities: Serve as a member of executive leadership team reporting directly to the President;Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the President and business unit heads; provide monthly and quarterly analysis with recommendations for improving business performance;Develop and utilize forward-looking, predictive models and activity-based financial analyses to provide insight into the organization's operations and business plan;Assist the Executive Team in establishing yearly objectives and long-term strategic planningServe as the primary point of contact with the auditors and manage preparation and support of annual review and tax return filings;Oversee long-term budgetary planning and costs management in alignment with the companies' strategic plans;Participate in key decisions pertaining to strategic initiatives, operating model and operational execution;Prepare and maintain regular financial planning reports; Monthly profit and loss forecast by unit (vs. budget);Develop and execute analysis of various business initiativesDevelop, maintain and measure capital budget;Oversee cash, investment, asset management, financing strategies, activities, and banking relationships;Oversee the accounting department and outside IT consultant to ensure proper maintenance of all accounting and business systems and function; supervise company finance with a goal of building an effective and responsive team;Oversee the Group's risk management and insurance function to see the Group's and operating companies' coverage is appropriate, adequate, and cost effective;Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions;Develop and maintain a goal objective system for all employees that supports the annual operating and long-term strategic plans of the company;Maintains the internal controls of the company and updates the controls as systems or processes are modified; Develop and implement a company-wide continuous process improvement system.Create a training plan for employees ---external as well as internal cross training. CFO Requirements:?? Minimum of 10 years manufacturing or construction experience required.?? Ability to lead and manage a team to implement new ideas and systems is essential.?? Experience in the preparation of financial statements, reporting, and financial analysis.?? Continuous Improvement experience, required (Lean Six Sigma and 5S training a plus)?? Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance?? CPA, preferred
