Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (Remote)

This work-from-home opportunity is for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer who possesses an understanding of back-end and front-end development including systems and DevOps knowledge.

What you'll be doing:

• Working on building out a new architecture to support the future of College Recruiter

• Developing new features and revamping others for web applications and API's

• Optimizing software and architectures to improve performance and scalability

• Providing input into the architecture and design of the platform

• Participate in daily standups and iteration planning

• Reviewing pull requests and providing mentorship to team members

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in a team environment

• Web-based development experience with node.js, OR a strong proficiency in any web programming language and have a desire to branch out into node.js

• Demonstrable experience with at least multiple JavaScript UI frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular

• Knowledge of JAMstack architectures

• Systems/DevOps knowledge and experience with CI/CD setups and automation and serverless technology

• Experience writing automated unit tests using an established unit testing framework

• Experience developing against SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL and MongoDB

• Team-based development experience team-based tooling such as Jira, git, Jenkins, etc

• Demonstrated ability to work-from-home. All of our employees work remote/virtual in home-based offices

Compensation:

Salary: $100,000-$120,000
