JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the removal and installation of wall vinyl, paint, casework finish, and wall hangings required for wall finishing projects in a safe and professional manner. Must be knowledgeable in paint, paste, casework finish, wall finish product applications, and small wall patching repair. May be required to assist other Construction Services trades to complete construction projects. Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Must be able to differentiate colors precisely. Utilizes varies machines/equipment such as paint sprayers, vinyl machine, and basic tools. Must be able to work on high equipment, such as lifts, ladders etc. Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean environment. Requires flexibility with indoor and outdoor working conditions. Keeps in compliance with the Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA). Travel may be required (around 10%).#featuredjobs

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Full time year round position! Read work orders, blueprints, plans, datasheets or site drawings to determine work to be done. Fosters strong customer relationships via delivery on commitments, open communication, and on-going feedback/improvement. Apply paint, stain, varnish, enamel, or other finishes to equipment, buildings, bridges, or other structures, using brushes, spray guns, or rollers. Smooth surfaces, using sandpaper, scrapers, brushes, steel wool, or sanding machines. Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape and paper to protect surfaces during painting. Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment. Assesses compliance with industrial and organizational building regulations.

DEPARTMENT DETAILS

QUALIFICATIONS

Trade school, vocational school or apprenticeship in interior finish related field preferred.
When applicable, may need a valid driver's license.
If valid driver's license is required, must maintain a good driving record.
