Rental Equipment Technician

What You'll Take Ownership Of:
\tInspect tools and equipment for damage and report repairs needed.
\tLoad, unload, and organize rental equipment around the yard.
\tClean and maintain tools and equipment.
\tCreate, modify, and close customer contracts accurately.
\tCommunicate professionally with customers via phone, email, and in person.
\tInstruct customers on tool/equipment safety, operation, loading and unloading.
\tRecord hours and fuel levels upon rental and return.
\tCreate and close service work orders on the computer.
\tTroubleshoot equipment issues for customers in the field on service calls.
\tConduct daily inventory reports for tools and equipment inside the store and outside in the yard.
\tSchedule ongoing maintenance to keep equipment in good working condition.
\tConduct regular maintenance and minor repair on rental equipment such as changing fluids, replacing filters, ignition replacements, changing hydraulic lines, replacing starters and alternators on equipment including skidsteers, mini excavators, light towers, generators, forklifts, and boom lifts.
\tPerform related tasks as assigned.

Need-To-Haves:
\tExcellent customer service skills
\tValid drivers license with a clean driving record
\tStrong computer skills and ability to learn new software
\tAbility to lift 70 lbs.

Skills and Experience Preferred:
\tPrevious mechanical repair experience
\tTool & equipment knowledge
