Digital Content Specialist

In this role, you will take on the challenge of creating and optimizing SEO-driven content for our robust and rapidly growing eCommerce website, including: brainstorming and taking charge of our digital content strategy by writing blogs, web page content, buying and how-to guides, eBooks, and whatever else you think will reach and impact current and potential customers - you're the expert! Ultimately, you should be able to collaborate in all digital content initiatives to ensure lead-generating engagement, brand consistency, and a positive customer experience.

We're looking for a natural problem-solver and lifelong learner who thinks tools rule! You might be perfect for joining our start-up-like atmosphere of digital marketing rockstars if you love to stay on top of inbound marketing industry trends, and have a proven ability to execute content marketing strategies and pick apart every last detail to ensure maximum efficiency. You also have a deep understanding of analytics, user experience, and how they affect ROI.

What You'll Take Ownership Of:

• Taking responsibility for improving and maintaining content marketing strategy to achieve business goals

• Researching, writing, and maintaining SEO-driven content such as blogs, web page content, buying and how-to guides, eBooks, and other content marketing pieces

• Facilitating web content and product data within a CMS and analytical programs

• Taking care of routine content changes and ensuring accuracy of content data feeds

• Collaborating with various departments and vendors to gather accurate specifications for new content marketing

• Monitoring and optimizing content efforts and analytics to ensure best performance

• Brainstorming with the digital marketing team to generate new and innovative ideas

• Writing, proofreading, editing, and optimizing content with significant attention to detail

• Rolling with the punches when it comes to taking on other projects and challenges

Need-To-Haves:

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations, Industrial Technology, or related field

• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills

• Knowledge of SEO-driven content marketing practices

• Love of technology and discovering emerging medias

• Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs

• Heart of a teacher and a storyteller

Love-To-Haves:

• 2+ years of experience working with content strategy and execution, inbound marketing, and SEO

• Familiarity with content management systems; WordPress or similar

• Experience working Product Information Management (PIM) platform
