Summary: 


The IT ERP Application Analyst is part of a team bringing solutions to the Werner business.  The primary responsibility is to collaborate with business users and IT team members to configure, support and enhance the Eclipse ERP environment.   

This role is responsible to work closely with business users to determine and document their needs and translating to requirements and design specifications.  Additionally, analyzes business processes for opportunities to improve customer service and/or process efficiencies.  Leads user testing for upgrades, configuration changes and system enhancements.  Provides end user support and training and maintains procedural and training documentation.  This individual consistently promotes and emulates our company values and our 5P’s. 

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions: 

·         Perform day-to-day system administration and support of the Eclipse ERP Platform Support. 

◦          Maintain key setups and configurations within the Eclipse ERP system.   

◦          Research, analyze and recommend system configuration and procedural changes that will improve the customer experience and improve process effectiveness and efficiency.  Collaborate with users and IT team members to design, test and implement the changes. 

◦          Act as the point person for end user support and troubleshooting of issues related to the Eclipse ERP system, ensuring timely and effective resolution and identifying proactive measures to prevent future issues. 

·         Utilize functional knowledge of the Eclipse ERP application to identify opportunities for implementation of new features, features not currently in use and system customizations.  Work with business users and IT team members to assess the impact, test and implement features or changes to improve processes. 

◦          Collaborate with users and IT team members to gather and document requirements, functional specifications and system configurations. 

◦          Develop test plans and detailed test scripts.  Coordinate and conduct user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet business requirements. 

◦          Plan and support the rollout of new features and customizations including end user training. 

·         Collaborate with business users and IT team members to plan, test and implement system upgrades and patches. 

·         Provide general use training and training of new features, functions and 3rd party add-ons. 

·         Create and maintain both end-user and administrative procedural documentation. 

·         Build, develop and grow relationships with ERP users and other stakeholders. 

·         Adhere to established project management methodology, SDLC, support and service management policies and procedures.

Required for consideration: 

·         Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. 

·         4+ years of experience working in a business IT capacity or acting as a liaison with the IT function required. 

·         2+ years of experience in an application support, administration or configuration role related to business technology systems (ERP, WMS or Order Management) required. 

·         Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile and proficiency in understanding business problems and opportunities and developing artifacts such as requirements, functional designs, and user test scripts required. 

Highly desirable candidates may also have: 

·         Experience in the Distribution Industry 

·         Experience with EPICOR Eclipse or other distribution ERP application (DDI, Prophet21, Tribute, FACTS, etc).
