PC Technician

Who We're Looking For:

Are you a tech-savvy go-getter with the ability to set-up, repair, and maintain laptop and desktop computers, as well as troubleshoot printers? Do you pride yourself on getting the job done right the first time and never met a problem you didn't love to solve? If so, do your best work with Acme Tools as a PC Technician!

What You'll Take Ownership Of:

• Setup, repair, modification, and maintenance of PC/Mac/laptop/Thin Client hardware, RF guns, credit card machines, printers, and peripheral components
• Installation and updates of specified software packages, such as operating systems, word processing, user backup, and spreadsheet programs
• Provide computer and software operations 'help desk' assistance to employees' and answer operation-related questions during all work hours; resolving problems and insuring end-user satisfaction
• Creating and updating Active Directory user accounts
• Updating and maintaining hardware inventory
• Maintaining accurate records of problems and inefficiencies, and refer major hardware problems to service personnel for correction
• Perform related tasks as assigned.

Need-To-Haves:

• Associate's degree in related field or equivalent experience
• Prior experience with Windows 7 & 10 operating systems
• Working knowledge of networking equipment: routers, switches, and hubs
• Ability to research and understand technical material
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects effectively
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to lift 70 lbs.

Skills and Experience Preferred:

• Microsoft Windows and Macintosh operating systems experience
• LAN/WAN network support
• Virtual and physical Server support
