Dakota State University is accepting applications for a 9-month term contract instructor/lecturer position in Speech Communications beginning August 2019. Requirements include a master's degree in Speech or Communication. Preferred qualifications are university teaching experience (face-to-face and online) and an interest in integrating technology in teaching. Duties include teaching general education courses in speech such as: Fundamentals of Speech, Public Speaking, and Argumentation and Debate. Other teaching opportunities include Organizational Communication, Intercultural Communication and Honors Public Speaking, depending on qualifications. Teaching load for this position is 30 credit hours per academic year. Opportunities also exist for online summer teaching. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
