Job Description Meet weekly and communicate daily with subcontractors to assess project progress, schedule, changes and deliveries Proactively identify design deficiencies, schedule concerns, and other project specific issues Monitor the project change order process The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for financial management of the project Ensure schedule, safety, and quality control programs are adhered to Enforce safety protocols to ensure job site consistently meets or exceeds OSHA safety standards Maintain appropriate documentation throughout the project including change order logs and RFI logs Communicate daily with owners, tenant reps, construction managers, superintendents and project coordinators to ensure progress toward the common goal is achieved The Successful Applicant 0-2 year's experience in the construction industry Experience should be in commercial, retail, educational, health care, or institutional projects. Bachelors Degree in Construction or related field Proficiency with computer software used in the construction industry Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial to success of the Assistant Project Manage What's on Offer Competitive base salary $60,000+, depending on project experience and skills Project/Metric Based bonus structure (Average payout between $7,000-$12,000) 401(k) with 5% company match (3% Safe Harbor, 2% Profit Sharing) Vehicle allowance $500/month 100% coverage for Individual (Medical, Dental, Vision, ST & LT Disability). $2000/year Deductible Option for Family Coverage 20 PTO Days + 9 Paid Holidays + 3 Personal Days (Birthday etc.)
