Job Details
The Learning Systems Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Learning Management System (LMS) and plays an integral role in optimizing the employee learning experience, with responsibility for the administration and maintenance of the LMS, LMS course design, robust reporting from the LMS; and driving the organization's instructional strategy for employee education.
Serves as lead instructional designer for Learning Management System (LMS) courseware, driving instructional strategy for the organization.
Maintains and supports the Altru Health System LMS, providing technical support and help desk functions to LMS users.
Designs and facilitates training on LMS functions to Altru employees, leaders, students, and other LMS administrators.
Delivers compliance reports from the LMS to leaders on a scheduled basis.
Coordinates employee education program, including annual required courses, upon-hire education, and ongoing education as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
